ABOUT THE FLORIDA TEAMCHEER ALLSTARS GYM
Gainesville, Florida – GO GATORS!
Florida Team Cheer was started in 2002 by Michelle Lewis. The gym developed several successful all-star teams at all age levels. These teams had a great deal of success, and in 2007 the Senior Coed Team received a bid to Worlds and came in 14th. This was the first team from the North Central area to reach this level of competition. FTC teams are very competitive, winning many State and National Championships. FTC teams have won post season bids to the Varsity AllStar Summit every year since its inception.
The gym continues a tradition of providing focused all-star cheer leading for girls and boys who are interested in pursuing the ultimate cheer leading experience.
The goal of the gym is to provide our teams (tiny’s thru senior coed) with the best coaching (cheer, tumbling, stunting) so that the kids can develop their skills to their best ability and then have the opportunity to showcase their talents. The journey of training to cheer with us is empowering and fun. We teach our students the importance of team sport responsibilities, teamwork, technique and professionalism and how hard work pays off.
Our focus is to encourage and continually develop individual cheer leading skills including stunting, tumbling, dance and showmanship as well as life skills like dependability, teamwork and perseverance so that we develop teams as well as individuals.
The gym is here to serve the cheerleaders and the parents. We want to make the most of the considerable investment (both in time and tuition) that your family will make to cheer leading. We have worked to find the best experience for the teams while keeping the expense and efforts of the entire family in focus. We look forward to you joining our gym and being a part of Florida TeamCheer.
